Fortenberry Praises Eisenmenger for Winning National Award
Implement Dealer, Small Manufacturer Receives Small Business Administration Award in Washington

LINCOLN, NE - Congressman Jeff Fortenberry praised West Point Implement and West Point Design Company owner Erv Eisenminger for winning the Nebraska Small Business Person of the Year award from the Small Business Administration (SBA). Eisenmenger will be presented with the award Thursday at a SBA ceremony in Washington.

Erv Eisenmenger has built West Point Implement and West Point Design Company upon years of hard work, reliability, and excellent customer service, Fortenberry said. From combines to manure spreaders, West Point Implement and West Point Design meet the vast needs of its agriculture producer customers.

West Point Design exemplifies Ervs entrepreneurial spirit. Recognizing area cattlemens unmet equipment needs, Erv became a small manufacturer, meeting market demands and boosting the local economy.

Agricultural entrepreneurship will be very important to agriculture and farm policy in the years to come. Erv Eisenmenger is a great Nebraska example of success and opportunity in agriculture through good business practices and innovation. Erv Eisenmenger was selected among nominated small business owners from across the state of Nebraska.
