Fortenberry Comments on Johanns Resignation

Washington, DC - Congressman Jeff Fortenberry today made the following statement after the announcement of Secretary Mike Johanns’ resignation.

"American agriculture has been well served under Secretary Johanns' watch.

From working with Mayor Johanns on the Lincoln City Council to working with Secretary Johanns in Congress, I have enjoyed the opportunity to get to know Mike Johanns through the years.

He is a natural leader, a thoughtful and principled public servant. His family farm upbringing is evident in his character and spirit. He works hard and does the job right.
