Overview: No retail unbundling program is being considered at this time by either the North Dakota Public Service Commission or the state legislature.

EIA State Data: In 2001, North Dakota had 106,758 residential and 15,740 commercial customers. They consumed 11 and 10 billion cubic feet of natural gas, respectively. The average prices paid for natural gas purchased from local distribution companies by residential and commercial customers were $7.68 and $6.96 per thousand cubic feet, respectively. The average city gate price in North Dakota was $4.82 per thousand cubic feet.
