Trees, wood and paper products are natural, renewable, and recyclable resources that help reduce greenhouse gases by removing and storing CO2 from the atmosphere and providing sources of energy that reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The world's forests - and the wood and paper products that come from them - can be managed to help meet the challenges of global climate change.
AF&PA has completed the process of developing a work plan with USDA and DOE, including determining actions that will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions intensity and meet AF&PA's Climate VISION commitment.
