Professional and Technical Resources

The members, volunteers, and staff of the American Water Works Association collectively represent the international focus of knowledge available in the water profession. From natural sciences to engineering; from operations to maintenance; from management to finding the talent to lead the way in our collective future; AWWA's more than 5,000 volunteers have answers. This intelligence is available to you.

This section of awwa.org is intended to represent focused professional and technical aspects of AWWA in 2007 and beyond. The information available to you a click or two away is only the beginning. Be sure to return as modifications, additions, and whole-scale revisions are made.

For now, please examine the Association's extensive Professional and Technical Resources by clicking on the navigation menu items to left, which will get you critical information for Small Systems, including the free capacity assessment tool, as well as resources on a host of specific topics such as AWWA's work in the membrane treatment arena of the industry.

Does your utility have a true understanding of your management structure in a systems approach? Need something better focused for your utility to improve systems than Six Sigma? Click on Utility Management.

And get involved. Collective knowledge depends on new members getting involved. Click on the Membership and Sections tab at the top of the page to get to our Get Involved/Volunteer resources.
