The American Water Works Association (AWWA) has more than 60,000 members representing every part of the water profession, and is the largest association of water professionals in the world. Our community connects the utilities that provide safe water throughout the world, manufacturers and consultants that bring top products, expertise and knowledge to their customers, and professionals who make a difference every day on the job.

AWWA is leading the way for the future. With the knowledge of our members, we are creating new standards, offering vital education to water professionals, protecting resources, and managing a strong advocacy program for the water industry.

As a member, you also belong to your local section, which offers additional membership value specific to your region. There are 43 sections located throughout North America.

Each AWWA Section is a community.  Through involvement in one of AWWA's 43 sections, water professionals can take advantage of local educational programs, network with peers, influence state or provincial legislation and regulations, and participate in the local and international organization.
