This webcast will introduce alternative methods for the disinfection of pipelines and water storage tanks, as well as effective distribution system operations and maintenance strategies to maintain chlorine residuals.  It will begin with a brief review of conventional chorine-based practices for disinfecting pipelines and storage tanks, followed by presentations on alternative practices involving ozone and chemical biocides cleaning.
