U. S. Senator Thad Cochran (R-MS) will attend events in Mississippi during the August Recess.

Senator Cochran will address the Mississippi Pecan Growers Association's annual meeting at their luncheon on Monday, August 4, at 11:30 a.m. (Central) at the Battlefield Inn in Vicksburg.

On Tuesday, August 5, the Senator will speak to the Gulfport Business Club at their luncheon at 12:00 noon (Central) at the Holiday Inn on the beach in Gulfport.

Senator Cochran will speak at the groundbreaking for the American Eurocopter helicopter facility on Thursday, August 7, at 11:00 a.m. (Central) at Golden Triangle Regional Airport in Columbus.

On Friday, August 22, at 10:00 a.m. (Central), Senator Cochran will speak at a dedication ceremony commemorating his donation of a personal collection of books to the Hinds Community College library. The event will take place at the McLendon Library in Raymond.

Also on Friday, August 22, the Senator will speak to The Russell Blass Walker Chapter of the American Inns of Court at their dinner meeting at 6:30 p.m. (Central) at the Great Southern Club in Gulfport.
