The 44th President of the United States of America will be inaugurated in Washington, D.C. on January 20, 2009. Information about the swearing-in ceremonies can be found on the website of the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies.
Members of the Senate and House of Representatives are allocated a limited number of tickets for constituents who wish to attend the swearing-in ceremonies. However, the number of requests my office has received already exceeds the number of tickets available, so I can no longer accept additional requests. Please contact other members of the Arizona Congressional Delegation to determine whether tickets are still available from their offices.
Please be aware that tickets are only available from Congressional offices. No websites or other ticket outlets actually have inaugural swearing-in tickets to distribute or sell, regardless of what they may claim.
If you wish to add your name to a waiting list for swearing-in tickets, please send an email to inauguraltickets@kyl.senate.gov, and include your full name, home address, telephone number, email address, and the number of tickets you are requesting. You will only be contacted if additional tickets become available. You may also wish to periodically check the Joint Congressional Committee’s website for other developing information about the Inaugural ceremonies. |
