The original 302(a) allocation was contained in the Emergency Supplemental Appropriations Act for Defense, the Global War on Terror, and Hurricane Recovery, 2006 (Public Law 109-234). Section 7035 of that act provides section 302(a) allocations to the Committee on Appropriations for fiscal year 2007. These allocations will remain in effect until the adoption by Congress of a budget resolution. Section 302(e) of the Congressional Budget Act of 1974, as amended, provides that at any time after a committee reports its allocations such committee may report to its House an alteration of such allocations. This report is submitted pursuant to this section.
