CHUCK SCHUMER (D-NY): “It is hard to believe that Senator McConnell and his party, who have filibustered 67 times, who are responsible for delay after delay after delay are now complaining… And let me just give you some of the things that they've delayed us on…the bill implementing the recommendations of the 9/11 Commission; the intelligence authorization bill; the court security bill; the water resources bill; the Clean Energy Act; the CHIP reauthorization; the economic stimulus package; the CPSC overhaul bill; the highway technical corrections bill; and just yesterday, the veterans health bill.” (Sen.
