The original 302(a) allocation was contained in the Emergency Supplemental Appropriations Act for Defense, the Global War on Terror, and Hurricane Recovery, 2006 (Public Law 109-234). Section 7035 of that act provides section 302(a) allocations to the Committee on Appropriations for fiscal year 2007. These allocations will remain in effect until the adoption by Congress of a budget resolution. Section 302(e) of the Congressional Budget Act of 1974, as amended, provides that at any time after a committee reports its allocations such committee may report to its House an alteration of such allocations. This report is submitted pursuant to this section. For the 110th Congress, the Committee organized its subcommittees in a new structure. The new subcommittees and their membership were published in the Congressional Record on February 28, 2007 (see Congressional Record Daily Digest pages D229-230). The allocations set forth below reflect the new subcommittee structure.
