The primary mission of the 27th Special Operations Wing is to plan and execute specialized and contingency operations using advanced aircraft, tactics, and air refueling techniques to infiltrate, exfiltrate, and resupply special operations forces and provide intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, and close air support in support of SOF operations.

The new year is upon us and so is tax season
CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Tax season, one of the most dreaded times of the year, is once again upon us. However, completing and filing your tax forms can be painless, simple and free if you come to the Cannon Tax Office, which opens on Jan 26 and will remain open until April 17. The tax office is located at the legal office building.
