Cardin Helps Break Ground for New Visitor Center at Assateague Island
On Jan. 28, Senator Cardin joined former Maryland Senator Paul Sarbanes, Representative Wayne Gilchrest, and officials from the National Park Service at a ground breaking ceremony for the new 8,745-square-foot Visitor Center at Assateague Island National Seashore. The new Visitor Center will provide additional educational programs for families with children.
