General appearance: The color and cleanliness shall conform to the standard sample(s) established by the Government. Brightness: Shall target not less than 79% or as specified. Color: The paperboard in the order (or publication) shall be uniform. The color variation shall not exceed DE(CIELAB) = 1.0. For colored stock, board shall be ash gray, blue, buff, and green, orange, red or match the color sample supplied by the ordering agency. The commercial color standard is applicable unless specified that the color shall conform to the Government standard. Color shall not fade and shall appear even and uniform on the surface of the sheet. Testing: Shall be conducted in accordance with methods in part 2, Government Paper Specification Standards.
