Mail Delays

Due to security concerns on Capitol Hill, mail delivery from the US Postal Service is experiencing significant delays. If you choose to submit a hard-copy application, we recommend that you send it via Fed-Ex or UPS and that you allow at least 72 hours for delivery, even for overnight packages. If you live in the Washington-metro area, you may also hand-deliver your application to the Library of Congress Employment Office, which is located at 101 Independence Avenue SE, Room LM-107, Washington DC 20540-2295.
