This is the title: Electricity InfoCard 2006, Energy Information Administration.
Side One

The first figure on side one is a vertical bar chart showing the U.S. electric power industry's net summer generating capacity for 2006: natural gas is 39.4%; coal is 31.7%; nuclear is 10.2%; hydroelectric is 10.1%; petroleum is 5.9%; other renewables is 2.4%; other gases is 0.2%; and other is 0.1%. For more information, contact the National Energy Information Center at 202-586-8800.

The second figure on side one is a pie chart depicting the U.s. electric power industry's net generation by fuel source: (starting clockwise) coal 49.0%; other gases 0.4%; nuclear 19.4%; other 0.3%; petroleum 1.6%; natural gas 20.0%; other renewables 2.4%; and hydroelectric 7.0%. for more information, contact the National Energy Information Center at 202-586-8800.

The last figure at the bottom of side one is a table showing the U.S. electric power industry's emissions from 1996 through 2006--for carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen oxides. For more information, contact the National Energy Information Center at 202-586-8800.

Side Two

At the top of side two is a table for the U.S. electric power industry's consumption and cost of fossil fuels for electricity generation in 2006. The fossil fuels represented are coal, petroleum, and natural gas. For more information, contact the National Energy Information Center at 202-586-8800.

The second figure in the middle of side two is a pie chart showing the percent of U.S. electricity sales (bundled and unbundled) by sector with an average retail price for 2006. Beginning clockwise, industrial sector at 28% and 6.16 cents/kWh; transportation sector at <0.5% and 9.54 cents/kWh; the commercial sector at 35% and 9.46 cents/kWh; and the residential sector at 37% and 10.40 cents/kWh. For more information, contact the National Energy Information Center at 202-586-8800.

The final figure at the bottom of side two is a line graph showing the average retail price of electricity sold by sector from 1960 through 2006. The real price is in chained (2000) dollars. The sectors include: residential, commercial, industrial, transportation, other, and all sectors. For more information, contact the National Energy Information Center at 202-586-8800.
