Sen. Salazar's Statement on Interior Department Scandal WASHINGTON, DC – United States Senator Ken Salazar issued the following statement regarding a report issued today detailing unethical and potentially criminal conduct by Federal employees responsible for collecting royalties from companies that produce oil and gas from public lands: “This is a disgraceful breach of public trust. The conduct detailed in this report shows a culture of corruption at a government agency that should be serving the public interest.
