Sen. Salazar Congratulates Al Gore on Nobel Peace Prize Honor

WASHINGTON, DC- “I congratulate former Vice President Al Gore on receiving the Nobel Peace Prize for his work highlighting one of our planet’s greatest threats – global warming.

“Al Gore’s work to bring increased global attention to the precariousness of our planet’s future and our role in it is second to none.

“It is my hope our Nation can continue to work with other countries to address this issue planet-wide. Although, as Al Gore points out in his recent book and movie – it is the small changes each of us can make individually that will eventually have the largest positive outcome. I urge every Coloradan and every American to find one thing they can do to use our energy more efficiently with less impact on our natural resources.”
