George S. McElwee
Chief of Staff
George manages the operations of Congressman Dent’s three congressional offices. George oversees administrative business and is a senior policy advisor for the Congressman. George previously worked for a Washington-based trade association as Director of Federal Government Affairs and served on the staff of U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum. George is from Bethlehem and a graduate of Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania and The George Washington University.

Laura Stevens
Legislative Director
Laura is senior policy advisor for the Congressman and specifically advises the Congressman on matters of Appropriations and Budget, Health, the Judiciary, Ethics, Social Security, and Taxation. She previously served on the staff of former Congressman Jim Greenwood. Laura is from Doylestown, is a graduate of the University of Vermont and holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center

Heather Smith
Office Manager/Scheduler
Heather manages the Congressman’s schedule in Washington, D.C. and also serves as office manager for all of the Congressman’s offices. Heather is from Center Valley and is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University.

Collin Long
Legislative Assistant
Collin advises the Congressman on policy matters including Agriculture, Armed Services, Energy, Foreign Affairs, Environment and Natural Resources, Science and Technology, Transportation and Infrastructure, Trade, and Veterans' Affairs. Collin is from Allentown and is a graduate of Syracuse University.

Kristin Dini
Legislative Assistant
Kristin advises the Congressman on policy matters including Homeland Security, Arts and Humanities, Education, Financial Services, Health and Human Services, Housing, Labor, Service and Volunteer Programs, Small Business Issues, and Trade. Kristin is from Huff’s Church, Berks County and is a graduate of Temple University.

Dennis Petersen
Legislative Correspondent
Dennis maintains the flow of correspondence to and from the Congressman's office and advises the Congressman on matters of the Census, Government Affairs, the Internet, the Postal Service, and Telecom issues. Dennis previously worked for Congressman Vito Fossella (NY-13) as staff assistant, and interned with the House Committee on International Relations. Dennis hails from Watertown, CT and is a graduate of The George Washington University. 

Ken Lynch
Staff Assistant
Ken provides a wide array of research work and constituent services on behalf of the Congressman, and handles flag and tour requests by constituents. Ken was an intern for Congressman Mike Castle of Delaware and interned with the government relations office of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh. Ken is from Lake Wallenpaupack and is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.

Carol Richman Halper
District Director
Carol manages the operations of Congressman Dent’s local constituent services and maintains contact with local government and community organizations. A former health care professional, she has served with the Congressman for more than a decade during his career in the Pennsylvania Legislature and U.S. Congress. Carol is a graduate of Kutztown University and resides in Allentown.

Gregg W. Bortz
Communications Director
Gregg manages all media relations and public communications for the Congressman. He was a professional journalist and communications specialist in the Lehigh Valley region for more than ten years. Gregg is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and resides in Bethlehem.

Laura McGarry
District Scheduler
Laura manages the Congressman’s schedule when he is at home in the 15th District. Laura attends Moravian College and resides in Lower Macungie Township.

Constituent Services Representatives provide a vast range of services for the people of the 15th District, assisting constituents with matters related to the federal government

Jason Lane
Casework Manager
Jason is a proud member of the U.S. Naval Reserve, a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and a graduate of Pennsylvania State University. He resides in North Whitehall Township.

Jennifer Bonatz
Constituent Services Representative/District Outreach Coordinator
Jennifer is a graduate of Bloomsburg University and resides in Nazareth.

Michael Cary

Michael is a graduate of East Stroudsburg University and resides in Moore Township.

Megan is a graduate of Lehigh University and resides in Bethlehem Township.

Vincent O’Domski
Constituent Outreach Director/Constituent Services Representative
Vince assists constituents with a variety of matters related to the federal government, and he is the Congressman’s outreach liaison with communities throughout the district. Vince holds a Master’s of Business Administration from DeSales University and has expertise in municipal and inter-municipal affairs.
