Internships in Congresswoman Wilson's Washington, DC Office
Congresswoman Wilson is looking for interns for her Washington, DC office this summer!
Qualified candidates will be college students or graduates with an interest in politics and the legislative process. Interns will be responsible for maintaining general front office duties including answering phones, conducting and scheduling tours of the Capitol, logging and writing office correspondence, and attending meetings/hearings on an as-needed basis. Applicants should have excellent communications skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, and a desire to learn the legislative process first hand.

Beyond the School Year...
Looking for a great outdoors experience this summer? Check out the New Mexico Forestry Camp!
If you are a student in New Mexico between the ages of 13 and 17 and enjoy the outdoors, then New Mexico Forestry Camp wants you! This is the seventeenth year for the camp, which will run from June 1-6.
Forestry Camp is designed to help young people learn about our forests. Campers work with foresters to measure trees, wildlife biologists to track wildlife, archaeologists to study the past, and other natural resource specialists to gain hands-on understanding of the uses of our forests. The camp is located at the Rancho del Chaparral Girl Scout Camp in the Jemez Mountains near Cuba.
Through an application process, campers are chosen to represent a cross-section of New Mexico students. You can find the applications at their website, www.nmforestrycamp.org. Applications for this summer are due April 18.
The camp is sponsored by the Cuba Soil & Water Conservation District and co-sponsored by more than a dozen federal and state natural resource agencies and non-profit organizations with a natural resource orientation. You can find out more about the forestry camp by clicking here.
