Alderman wants time limits for mobile food vehicles

5th District Alderman David Maack is asking for input on his proposal for a city ordinance to limit how long food vehicles can stay in one spot. He has heard complaints from people near the intersection of Yout Street and Douglas Avenue about a taco vending truck that sits on the side of the street most of the week without moving during the day.



Local businessman John Dickert defeated state Rep. Robert Turner in a special election to become Racine's next mayor on Tuesday.
