Senator Murray has worked hard to protect consumers and the environment
and ensure there are adequate energy supplies in Washington.
Fighting for Washington state's needs:
Defending public power, the environment and consumers. Murray is working
to develop regional solutions that will meet Washington's energy and
salmon recovery needs.
New Energy Sources
Murray sees the need for new, renewable power sources that will protect
Washington from future power shortages.
Pipeline Safety
At the same time, Senator Murray is working to ensure that new energy
pipelines meet the high safety standards she's been fighting to pass.
Conservation
Senator Murray is a strong advocate for energy conservation. She is
also a member of the Senate Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Caucus.
This bipartisan caucus promotes renewable energy and energy efficiency
technologies in the U.S.
