Budget of the U.S. Government, FY 2009 contains the Budget Message of the President, information on the President's priorities and budget overviews by agency. This volume contains charts and photographs that require a high resolution printing on coated paper stock.

Appendix, Budget of the U.S. Government, FY 2009 presents detailed information on the various appropriations and funds that constitute the budget. It includes for each Government department and agency the text of proposed appropriations language, budget schedules for each account, legislative proposals, explanations of the work to be performed and the funds needed, and proposed general provisions applicable to the appropriations of entire agencies or groups of agencies.

To the extent feasible, the data has been adjusted to provide consistency with the FY 2009 Budget and to provide comparability over time.

The planned release of the Budget of the U.S. Government, FY 2009 is early February 2008. The number of pages will not be known until the last moment. We will make every effort to hold these prices, but the actual rider rates may have to be adjusted. However, the approximate costs shown should be sufficient for budgeting purposes. (Note that rider rates apply to single destination, local delivery. Mailing charges, if incurred, will be added to your account.) Rider requisitions WILL NOT be accepted after January 18, 2008.  Requests for advance copies cannot be honored.

NOTE: Field or regional activities should coordinate their requirements with their Washington, DC, area headquarters' printing officers before submitting any paperwork.

All requisitions submitted must be signed by your agency’s authorized personnel as reflected in our agency signature files.
