Agency Strategic Teams (ASTs)

The Government Printing Office has streamlined the way we serve you, our customers, by creating Agency Strategic Teams (ASTs).

An AST is comprised of 10-12 technical experts. Each team is assigned to handle your agency's particular requirements for electronic and print-related products and services from start to finish. ASTs will consult with you to determine the best approach to fulfilling your needs. They will handle the entire process including determining which procurement vehicle to utilize, writing specifications, obtaining bids or quotes, selecting contractor, contract administration, and quality assurance.

Our teams are developing close relationships with you and creating an environment where you can feel confident your needs will be met in a timely manner at the required level of quality. In addition, ASTs are working with the industry to determine better and more cost effective means of fulfilling your needs.

Our teams are managed by directors who have considerable years of experience in the industry. Under their capable guidance and leadership, the work is processed in its entirety in the team environment so that the teams function as a "one-stop-shop" for anything you need.
