Sen. Hutchison Announces a $218,752 Research Grant for Texas A&M Health Science Center
WASHINGTON -- Texas’ senior Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX) today announced that a $218,752 research grant has been awarded to the Texas A&M System Health Science Center Research Foundation by the National Science Foundation (NSF).
“The Texas A&M Health Science Center is a proven leader in medical research,” Sen. Hutchison said. “I am pleased to announce this funding to support their groundbreaking efforts.”
This grant will support a project entitled, “Collaborative Research: Integrative Analysis of Hominid Feeding,” under the direction of Professor Paul Dechow. Dr. Dechow is a professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the Texas A&M System Health Science Center.
