Sen. Hutchison Announces a $401,641 Research Grant for UT-Austin
WASHINGTON -- Texas’ senior Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX) today announced that a $401,641 research grant has been awarded to the University of Texas at Austin by the National Science Foundation (NSF).
“I’m pleased to announce this funding to support cutting-edge research at the University of Texas,” Sen. Hutchison said.
The grant will go to support a project entitled, “Cosmic Reionization and Its Feedback Effect on Galaxy Formation,” which is under the direction of Dr. Paul Shapiro, the Frank N. Edmonds, Jr. Regents Professor in Astronomy.
