The hearing will focus on the progress that the Department of Defense (DoD) has made in developing and implementing the supply chain management improvement plan since the Subcommittee’s last hearing on October 6, 2005. The hearing will also examine the extent to which the supply chain management improvement plan is integrated with other DoD logistics strategies, concepts, and plans, such as the Quadrennial Defense Review, the Logistics Transformation Strategy, the Focused Logistics Roadmap, and the Enterprise Transition Plan. Finally, the hearing will explore if DoD has identified valid performance metrics and data to use in monitoring initiatives and measuring progress. |
