The hearing will focus on the homeland security risks associated with the upcoming presidential transition, the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) planning for the transition, and what remains to be done to prepare for the transition. In particular, the hearing will review a recent report by the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) entitled, Addressing the 2009 Presidential Transition at the Department of Homeland Security. |
