Making Quality Health Care Accessible to Every American

History has proved that the best way to grow the economy and create jobs is to limit the size of government, cut taxes, and give businesses the opportunity to compete on a level playing field.

Senator Sessions fights for jobs in Alabama by cutting taxes, reducing the burden of regulations on business, and ensuring strict enforcement of our trade laws to support our manufacturing base. His legislation has helped displaced workers move from traditional manufacturing jobs into new high tech jobs by promoting critical job training and making continuing education possible and affordable.

Senator Sessions is focused on finding ways to encourage more people to obtain health insurance and to provide easier access to health care for citizens of Alabama.  Sessions is very concerned about the impact of the uninsured on our nation's hospitals, and supports legislation to address this important issue. The Senator is also a strong advocate for fairness in funding formulas that have traditionally short changed Alabama, such as Medicare reimbursement for hospitals and the Ryan White CARE Act, which provides health care for individuals with HIV/AIDS.
