Ensuring that America's Courts are Fair and Neutral Arbiters of the Law

As a former U.S. Attorney and Attorney General for Alabama, Senator Sessions understands that federal judges and Supreme Court justices are critical to our government.

The heritage of American law requires a neutral and fair judge. Senator Sessions is committed to confirming judges who will best serve our nation by judging others based on the rule of law established by the Constitution.

Senator Sessions is committed to the prompt confirmation of principled, non-activist judges who adhere to the rule of law and to being neutral "umpires" for all parties that come before them. He is dedicated to fighting for judges who refuse to legislate from the bench and acknowledge that they are bound by the Constitution to interpret the rule of law as it is written, not as he or she would have written it.
