On August 19, 2008, Congresswoman Hirono met with Daisy and learned how hard Daisy works every day to clean 13 rooms in her shift. Daisy is one of the staff members at the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua in Maui.
Congresswoman Mazie Hirono met with teachers on August 21, at Kailua High School to discuss opportunities for more teachers to become National Board Certified Teachers.
Congresswoman Hirono visits Henkels & McCoy to meet with Area Manager Mike Alvarez and John Nichols, who is in charge of Business Development. Henkels & McCoy is one of the “Green renewable energy Companies” doing business in Hawaii.
