Statement Regarding University of Michigan Purchase of Pfizer Site
in Ann Arbor

—U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) today made the following statement
regarding the announcement today from the University of Michigan that
it will purchase the Pfizer site for research and development. “Today’s announcement is great news for Ann Arbor and our entire state. Utilizing this existing site will not only create thousands of good-paying jobs, but will also expand upon the already extensive educational and research opportunities available at the University. This expansion will also further solidify our state as a top research destination and the University of Michigan as a world renowned center for learning.”- U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow |
