“The President spoke on behalf of all Americans. All of us are proud of our service men and women who have sacrificed so much on behalf of our nation. Their professionalism and bravery helped successfully bring us to this point, where major military operations in Iraq have been concluded. For that, all America is grateful. However, there is still much work to be done. As the President has rightly stressed, we need to help the Iraqi people better their lives and continue to wage the war on terror in a vigilant and aggressive fashion to protect our people and nation from future threats and attacks.”
