I am glad that you are considering a visit to the nation's Capital.

This page has website links to information that will help you prepare your trip. Here you will find information about Washington area weather, how to get around the city, important sites to see, and other points of interest.

Additionally, my office is happy to help arrange Congressional tours of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, the Supreme Court, the Pentagon, the U.S. Treasury, the Library of Congress, the State Department, the Kennedy Center, the National Cathedral, the National Archives, and Mount Vernon.  Tickets to tour the White House may be obtained through my office, but tickets are limited and at least a three month notice is suggested.

My office also provides VIP Congressional tours of the United States Capitol twice a week. During Washington, D.C.'s peak tourist season, March through September, we recommend that requests be made as far in advance as possible in order for the desired tours to be scheduled.

To request tours, please follow this link to our Tour Request Form. Your request will be processed by the Tour Coordinator in the Tulsa, OK office. It is helpful to give us a contact phone number where you can be reached in Washington because occasionally tours are cancelled on short notice and it is necessary for us to contact you.

If individuals with disabilities will be on the tour, please let us know and we will be happy to make the necessary arrangements in order to make the tours as enjoyable as possible.

Please don't hesitate to contact my office if you are planning a visit to Washington, D.C. I hope you enjoy your tour and my office will be happy to assist you in any way possible while you are staying in the nation's Capital!
