Constituent Services - Flag Requests
U.S. Capitol

Many Oklahomans wish to obtain flags for commemorative, ceremonial, or personal use. These flags may be flown over the United States Capitol Building on any day of the year and our office would be happy to make the arrangements for you. In order to efficiently process your request, please note the following instructions.

Before a flag can be flown over the Capitol, it must be purchased. Therefore we must receive a check or money order for the complete cost of the flag made out to "The Keeper of the Stationery." In order to process the flag on the date requested, PLEASE SUBMIT REQUEST FORMS AND CHECKS 6-8 WEEKS IN ADVANCE. Send check or money orders with a completed flag request form (PDF, 205KB) to our Washington office:

Flag Coordinator
Office of Senator James Inhofe
453 Russell Senate Office Building
Washington, DC 20510

If you would like to have a flag flown on a specific date, please mail your request 6-8 weeks prior to the flying date.

Due to the volume of requests, please allow 6 weeks for the delivery of your flown flag.

Note: Right-Click on the link and select "Save Target As..." to download the Flag Request Form to your computer
