Archived Monthly Files, Revised, 1984 Forward

EIA revises its first-round monthly estimates of State-level coal production using quarterly mine-level coal production data when they become available from the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA).  Revised monthly coal production estimates can be accessed from the table below.  State and U.S. totals in each yearly table agree with EIA’s published data.  The qualifications and descriptions discussed for the weekly tables also apply to the monthly tables. 

Units in all tables are short tons.
