Windows Media Center supports High Definition Digital Television (HDTV). Your PC will need a digital cable tuner (for HDTV over-the-air) or a CableCARD™ (contact your digital cable service provider for more information).

To find the appropriate TV tuner, digital cable tuner or CableCARD for your PC:

• Refer to the hardware documentation that came with your PC

• Visit the manufacturer's website

• Contact the manufacturer directly

Note: Scenarios describing the use of Windows Media Center on a TV require a PC directly connected to a TV or an Extender for Windows Media Center with the requisite home network and compatible networking equipment. DVD burning, TV features, and remote control support may vary by manufacturer and/or require additional purchases. Playback and recording features require an integrated or external USB TV tuner.
