Special Topics and Data Reports

From 1979 through 1995, typically two hardcopy data reports were published—one that covered details of building characteristics and a second that focused on energy consumption and expenditures. Those reports included detailed data tables, discussion of major findings, summaries of survey methodology, and other descriptive features. Electronic versions of reports from the 1992 and 1995 CBECS are available and can be accessed via the links to the left.

Short reports, for electronic release only, are listed below. Some are stand-alone pieces on a specific topic; others are parts of two series, one on principal building activities and a second on trends in commercial buildings.
