Federal and State Parks Need Campground Hosts!

You are invited to join State and Federal agencies to serve as campground hosts, volunteering to help provide a wide range of useful services to benefit both the parks and the visiting public. Campground hosts camp at a park for extended periods of time and provide general services such as greeting the public, providing information, cleaning the campground/facilities, fee system compliance checks, reporting any problems to the park rangers, and other related duties. The Campground Hosts usually locates ’their’ trailer or recreational vehicle (RV) in a campsite close to the campground’s entrance. In exchange for service to the parks, camp fees and utilities are usually provided, a volunteer agreement must be signed and a background check may be required. Check with the individual sites and confir with the recreation planners who have posted opportunities on this site. Happy Camping and Thanks for Taking Pride in America!
