WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley today announced that the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Community Services has awarded a grant of $687,000 to the Highway 63 Gateway Community Development Project in Waterloo.

“These funds will help provide economic development opportunities in Waterloo in order to create job opportunities for the area,” Grassley said.

The Highway 63 Gateway Community Development Project will use the funds to help pay for an urban and rural economic development project.
