Welcome to the Senate Democratic High-Tech Task Force website. The Senate Democratic High Tech Task Force serves as vehicle for facilitating the communication, education and outreach efforts between Senate Democrats and the high-tech sector.
The Senate Democratic High Tech Task Force is led by Senator John Kerry (MA) and Senator Mark Pryor (AR), the Co-Chairmen for the 110th Congress. In addition to the leadership of our Co-Chairmen, the Senate Democratic High Tech Task Force closely coordinates its activities with and relies upon the knowledge and expertise of the chairmen and members of the Senate Commerce, Energy, Finance and Judiciary Committees that are already doing important work on policy initiatives related to technology.
During the 110th Congress, the Senate Democratic High-Tech Task Force will continue its work toward promoting a healthy environment for technology growth and highlighting Democratic priorities: strengthening our economy, protecting our environment, fostering technological advances, improving our education and enhancing our homeland security.
