I think the idea of a NCAA Div. 1 football playoff just gained support in Utah.
If no one watches any BCS bowl games on TV, the NCAA will be forced to consider a playoff. Just don't call it a boycott.
Stock market up nearly 3% in 2009. Let's declare victory and go home.

The Blagojevich Affair reminds me of the plot of any Christopher Buckley novel: Bizarre characters, inside-the-beltway biting wonkish wit.
I'm not an Illinois political pundit, but I'm guessing Obama's opposition to Burris does away with the whole 'lynch and hang' strategy.
@jeffjarvis - You can sign both my print copy and the back of my Kindle. ; ) Maybe that will start a trend.
I am now turning off the news and going back into vacation mode. Blagojevich was comedy. Gaza, however, is tragic.
@ricksanchezcnn The integrity of Burris may not be questionable. But he's displayed why his judgement should be in question.
I'll repeat my earlier tweet: In Louisiana, politicians say, "Thank God for Illinois."
