Kerry to Announce Study: Affordable Housing Out of Reach

Housing Advocates to Highlight Housing Crunch, Push for Kerry Housing Trust Fund

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator John F. Kerry will join HUD Secretary Andrew Cuomo, Senator Jim Jeffords (R-VT) and the National Low Income Housing Coalition to announce the results of a new study entitled, "Out of Reach," analyzing authoritatively the lack of affordable housing for working families nationwide. Kerry, Cuomo, Jeffords, and National Low Income Housing Coalition President Sheila Crowley will also urge Congress to make critical investments in housing, passing Sen. Kerry's Affordable Housing Trust Fund in the final budget bill this fall.
