Legislator honored for his work to combat substance abuse around the country
“We presented the 2006 Guardian Award today to a dedicated legislator who remains committed to the critical issues of drug education, prevention and treatment,” said Pasierb. “In this session of Congress alone, Senator Grassley has worked to limit the availability of the chemicals and equipment used to manufacture methamphetamine; reauthorize the ‘Drug Czar’s’ office; protect children affected by methamphetamine; support community coalitions nationwide; and keep illicit drugs from our young people.”
