Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority
Washington’s subway system, the Metro, can take you to most places
in the greater Washington D.C. area. Trains arrive in each Metro station
every five minutes during rush hours (6-9:30 a.m., 3-6:30 p.m.) and every
ten minutes the rest of the day.

5 a.m. weekdays, 7 a.m. weekends;
Closes
midnight Sunday-Thursday, 3 a.m. Friday-Saturday nights. Holiday hours vary.
WMATA
suggests that when traveling at night, please check the last train departure
times posted
in the stations. Last trains leave many stations before midnight (between 2:30
and 3:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday).

Tour Mobile & Old
Town Trolley
These two services are an ideal way to get around. Buses make scheduled
stops at points of interest on and near the Mall, including Arlington National
Cemetery.
For your convenience, you may get off at any stop, then reboard and continue
the tour. The Old Town Trolley makes additional stops in many of Washington
D.C.’s historic neighborhoods.

9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. Ticket booths at Union Station and Arlington
National Cemetery open at 9 a.m. Tourmobiles leave stops every 20 minutes.

Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, trolleys come by each stop every 30
minutes.
