Internat Chats

Technology has changed the way we learn, work and communicate. In today's world it is essential for students to know how to use computers and access Internet resources. That's why I began holding Internet chats with high school students around the state. I've chatted with students in Bismarck, Beach, Bowman, Devils Lake, Dickinson, Grafton, Hettinger, Kindred, Minot, and Richardton High Schools, just to name a few.

Chatting on the Internet combines technology and education. During on-line chats students share with me their opinions on a variety of issues that have impact on their future, and they ask me questions about pending legislation and where I stand on important issues. It is a wonderful exchange of views and a great way to get students involved in the democratic process.

If you are interested in scheduling an Internet chat, please contact my office at (202) 224-2551. For more information about chats, please view this video.
