FEMA and SBA Disaster Assistance Deadline

For small businesses, and most private, nonprofit organizations of all sizes, the SBA offers Economic Injury Disaster Loans to help meet working capital needs caused by the disaster. Economic Injury Disaster Loan assistance is available regardless of whether the business suffered any physical property damage. The deadline to return economic injury applications is March 11, 2009; the deadline for returning applications for physical damage expired August 11, 2008.
Artisan Development Project

Lt. Governor Becky Skillman recently announced the launch of the Indiana Artisan Development Project (IADP), which will support and promote Hoosier artisans and handmade products. The project is a joint venture between the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA), the Indiana Office of Tourism Development, the Indiana State Department of Agriculture, and the Indiana Arts Commission.
