With the Senate in recess for the Memorial Day holiday, I look forward to town hall meetings in the coming week. I have visited each of the 99 counties every year since I have been in the Senate. It's important to have this kind of communication in representative government. I am one-half of the equation and those who come and speak with me are the other half. It’s important for me to make time to listen to them and then take their thoughts and concerns to Washington. Hopefully, I’ll be able to see you at my meetings next week.
