In the 110th Congrss, both the House and Senate bills implementing recommendations of the 9-11 Commission (H.R. 1 and S. 4) contain provisions which require TSA screeners to be placed in either the FAA or the DHS personnel system. This hearing would review the personnel systems at TSA and the merits of the proposed legislation.
